Terms of Service

Last updated: July 3, 2026

1. Overview

This website is operated by Rover & Oak (“we,” “us,” “our”). By accessing or using roveroak.com or purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, along with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Return & Refund Policy, and any other policies referenced here.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use this site.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to place an order. By placing an order, you represent that you meet those requirements.

3. Products & availability

We do our best to display product details accurately, but colors, textures, and finishes on screen can differ slightly from the real item. We reserve the right to discontinue products, limit quantities, and correct pricing or description errors at any time, including after an order has been placed.

4. Orders & payment

When you place an order, you’re making an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline orders for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, errors in pricing or description, suspected fraud, or prior abuse of our policies. If we cancel an order after you’ve been charged, you’ll receive a full refund.

Prices are shown in the currency selected at checkout and do not include taxes, shipping, or any import duties or customs fees unless stated otherwise.

5. Shipping, returns & refunds

Shipping details are covered in our Shipping Policy. Returns, refunds, replacements, and warranty remedies are covered in our Return & Refund Policy. Our products are covered by the Limited 365-Day Warranty described there, under which our standard remedy is a free replacement. Except for that warranty and the remedies set out in the Return & Refund Policy — and except for any rights that cannot be excluded under the consumer law of your country — all sales are final. We do not offer refunds for change of mind.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, photography, logos, designs, and the Rover & Oak name — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any of it for commercial purposes without written permission.

7. User-generated content

If you submit reviews, photos, or comments (including by tagging us on social media), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use that content in marketing materials, on our website, and in our social channels, with credit where appropriate.

8. Prohibited uses

You agree not to use this site for any unlawful purpose, to transmit harmful code, attempt to breach security, scrape content in bulk, impersonate another person, or abuse our return and refund policy through fraudulent or repeated bad-faith claims.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

Except for the Limited 365-Day Warranty set out in our Return & Refund Policy, the site, its content, and our products are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To that extent, we disclaim all implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Your remedies as a buyer of defective or undelivered goods are those set out in our Return & Refund Policy.

Nothing in these Terms or our Return & Refund Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, warranty, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the law of your state or country of residence, including the Australian Consumer Law, the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, and applicable Canadian provincial consumer-protection legislation. Where such rights apply, they prevail over the limitations in this section to the extent required by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rover & Oak is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of this site or our products. Our total liability for any claim, regardless of the form of action, is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question. Nothing in this section limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Product care and safe use

The Trailhound’s bottle interior should be cleaned with a bottle brush; do not insert fingers into the bottle opening. If any part of a product appears damaged, sharp, or defective, discontinue use immediately and contact support@roveroak.com for a free replacement under the 365-Day Tail-Wag Warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any product issue is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the purchase price.

11. Chargebacks & payment disputes

Customers agree to contact us before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with their bank. Filing a chargeback for a reason outside of our Return & Refund Policy — including an undelivered claim made before the 20-day (US) or 30-day (international) window — will be documented and disputed with full order and tracking records. We reserve the right to decline future orders from customers who file chargebacks outside of our policy. This does not affect any legitimate exercise of non-excludable statutory rights.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Rover & Oak is headquartered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in that state. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence.

13. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects when. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms.
